copilot for word on MacOS

I purchased a copilot license and I am trying to use it on word. However I don’t understand if word (and excel, powerpoint) for mac support it or not. Looking around on the internet (and asking copilot) it seems that it does. However the copilot icon does not show in the ribbon. Is there something I should do to activate it?

If I go on the word web app I do see the copilot icon and it does work properly. However, I would really like to use it from within the app.
