Maps and Weather on iOS and Android?

I finally switched over to iOS from Windows Mobile as my daily driver about a year ago, and something that has bugged me ever since is the lack of Microsoft-provided apps for maps/traffic and weather. Any idea why they chose to carry over their News, Money, and Sports apps but decided not to bother with these? Given they still build both Maps and Weather for Windows 10, it would seem relatively straightforward to make corresponding iOS and Android versions available, too. Anyone know if they’re working on building them out?

That's because all other weather apps for Window phone sucked. They are always crashing, or didn't work correctly.
