Outlook.com Spam

In the last 24 hours, the spam in my outlook.com account has gone crazy. They’re all going into my junk folder as expected, but the volume has probably tripled (from a few a day to nine just this a.m.) I see images in the messages (and the option to not show images for items in Junk Email selected).

I’ve seen this before, where it goes crazy like this and then eventually calms down. I’m convinced they let an intern loose on the code every once in a while, and then have to fix it.

Is anyone else seeing this?
