  • This update fixes security issues in the Windows operating system.
  • New! The Copilot in Windows icon now appears on the right side of the taskbar in the taskbar. Additionally, the Show Desktop display at the far right of the taskbar is disabled by default. To re-enable it, go to the Settings/Personalization taskbar. You can also right-click the taskbar and select “Taskbar Settings.” Windows 11 devices will receive this new functionality at different times. Some of these new features will be gradually rolled out to consumers through the Controlled Feature Rollout (CFR).
  • This update fixes an issue affecting screen readers. These are slow if you use natural voices.
  • The update fixes an issue affecting explorer.exe. She may become unresponsive. This occurs when you restart or shut down a PC that has a controller accessory connected.
  • The update resolves an issue affecting the download of device metadata. Windows Metadata and Internet Services (WMIS) downloads over HTTPS are now more secure.
