World Clock App

I thought you may be interested to know of a very useful feature that was added to the World Clock App in Windows 11.

I often have to communicate with people and organisations across the world, and therefore need to be aware of the difference in Time Zones. Especially around this time of the year when different countries are switching their local times.

When you open the app, you’ll notice on the bottom right-hand side a box with three icons. The first of those icons is ‘compare’, the second is ‘edit’ and the third is the ‘+’ symbol.

The new icon ‘Compare’ automatically adjusts time zones to your ‘local’ time. So you no longer have to work out the differences between +/- hours to your zone.

It was added a few months ago, and I’ve found it invaluable for making sure I’m working within the correct time globally.
