Microsoft isn’t the only major video game console maker offering great deals during Black Friday. Today, Sony announced its own sale on PlayStation, which will run from November 18 through the 26.

“From a new PS4 Bundle to sales on PS VR units and digital content at PS Store, this Black Friday delivers great value across the PlayStation portfolio,” a Sony announcement notes.
Some of the sale items include:
Marvel’s Spider-Man Standard Edition PS4 Bundle. Available for just $200, this jet black 1 TB PS4 system includes a matching DualShock 4 wireless controller and a physical copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man.
DualShock 4 wireless controllers. Select controllers will be on sale for just $35, incuding the new Blue Camouflage color, Magma Red, Midnight Blue, Gold and Crystal.
PlayStation VR systems. Available for $200.
PlayStation Plus. Sony’s video game service will be on sale with discounts on the 12-month subscription. Members will be able to take advantage of special deals on popular game titles at the PlayStation Store from November 16 to 27, as well.
Sony says that its Black Friday offers will be available at participating retailers starting November 16 in the U.S. (and November 22 in Canada), while supplies last.

Great! I could definitely use the following:

Playstation VR Systems. Due to my busy work schedule, I was able to finally finish the Return to Arkham series (Batman) for the PS4. It took me over a year to do it. All I need now to do now is finish the Arkham VR game and I would have completed every game in the series.

Playstation Plus. I am hoping this is reduced to $29, as it was in the past. If so, I'll stock up with 3 or 4 of these 12 month subscriptions because I know they will stack and won't have to worry about it for a while. I've been a subscriber to this for several years with a break in between. The value of this subscription and the free games is unbeatable. Also I am pretty sure that there are now more Playstation Plus subscribers than there are Xbox Live ones, which is an amazing feat by Sony.

However, I am disappointed that there is no Playstation NOW announcement, with regards to a discount. I know it's the #1 game streaming service right now and I would have loved to try it.
