Fall Guys, the popular platform battle royale game that was recently acquired by Epic Games is coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch on June 21. The game will also become free-to-play on all platforms on that date, which will also mark the launch of a new season and Battle Pass.

“Whether you’re on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, the Epic Games Store or a mix of all of the above, you’ll be able to play Fall Guys for free —with cross-play, cross-platform parties and cross-progression fully supported with the use of your Epic Games Account,” developer Mediatonic said today.

The PC version of Fall Guys will also make the transition from Steam to the Epic Games Store in June, though the Steam version will continue to be supported for existing players. Epic Games did a similar thing with Rocket League after purchasing its developer Psyonix back in 2019, and the game also became free-to-play soon after.

Just like Rocket League, Fall Guys was initially released on PlayStation 4 and Windows, and it received a large amount of buzz due to Sony offering it for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers. Xbox and Nintendo Switch players have been waiting for almost two years to play the game on their platform, and they can already pre-register to get some exclusive rewards when the game launches on June 21. Microsoft also announced today that three exclusive costume rewards will be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
