Far Cry 5 is Coming Soon to Xbox Game Pass

Far Cry 5 is the next big Ubisoft game that’s coming to Xbox Game Pass. The action-adventure shooter will join the recently-added Assassin’s Creed Origins on July 1, and it will also be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming and PC Game Pass.

Microsoft announced back in April that more Ubisoft games would be added to Xbox Game Pass in the near future, so this is likely just the beginning. Ubisoft also released Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Extraction day one on Xbox Game Pass earlier this year, though this will likely remain an exception.

In addition to Far Cry 5 coming to Game Pass on July 1, six new games are also coming to the service before the end of the month, including the Shadowrun trilogy today. You can find the full list of new Game Pass additions below:

  • Shadowrun Returns (Cloud and Console) – Available today
  • Shadowrun: Dragonfall – Director’s Cut (Cloud and Console) – Available today
  • Shadowrun: Hong Kong – Extended Edition (Cloud and Console) – Available today
    Total War: Three Kingdoms (PC)
  • FIFA 22 (Console and PC) – June 23, via EA Play
  • Nakara: Bladepoint (Cloud, Console, and PC) – June 23
  • Far Cry 5 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – July 1

Microsoft also announced today that 10 new cloud-enabled games in the Xbox Game Pass catalog now support touch controls. The list includes the Ninja Gaiden trilogy, Bugsnax, Broken Age, and Life is Strange: True Colors.

Lastly, FIFA 20, Jurassic World Evolution, Last Stop, and MotoGP 20 will leave the Xbox Game Pass library on June 30. As usual, subscribers can purchase these games with a $20% discount before they leave the catalog at the end of the month.

Far Cry 5, the best out of the series IMHO. Good storyline and beautiful open world game play. Already finished the game 3 times. But I keep in coming back to it.
