Valve’s Portal 2 Headlines Games with Gold for September 2022

Microsoft has just taken the wraps off the new Games with Gold for the month of September 2022. The headliner is Portal 2, Valve’s cult-classic puzzle-platform game that was released on PC and 7th gen consoles back in 2011.
September will be the last month where the monthly Games with Gold selection includes two Xbox 360 titles. “We have reached the limit of our ability to bring Xbox 360 games to the catalogue; however, Games with Gold will continue to include exciting Xbox One titles and exclusive savings each month,” Microsoft told Xbox subscribers in July.

It’s good to have a critically-acclaimed game like Portal 2 to end the Xbox 360 Games with Gold era on a high note. But there will be three other games to claim for free in September including the Xbox One games Gods Will Fall and Double Kick Heroes, as well as the original Xbox game Thrillville. Overall, these four games represent $67 in value and 3000 in Gamerscore.
