Microsoft has revealed the new Xbox Games with Gold for the month of October, which marks the end of the service offering two free Xbox 360 games every month. As a result, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get just two free Xbox One games next month, Windbound and Bomber Crew Deluxe Edition.
These two games represent $45 in value and 2000 in Gamerscore. As usual, they will be free to claim for a month, and you’ll need to keep an active Xbox Live Gold subscription to play them on your console.

Back in July, Microsoft sent an email to Xbox Live Gold members to warn them that it was no longer in capacity to offer new Xbox 360 games every month. However, the company said that the program will carry on with just Xbox One games and the weekly Deals with Gold.
“We have reached the limit of our ability to bring Xbox 360 games to the catalogue; however, Games with Gold will continue to include exciting Xbox One titles and exclusive savings each month. This will not impact any Xbox 360 games that you downloaded before October 2022,” the company said at the time.
If you haven’t done it yet, you have until tomorrow, October 30 to claim Portal 2, which is the last Xbox 360 Games with Gold title to be offered by Microsoft. If you’re still playing on an Xbox 360, you’ll no longer get new Games with Gold to play every month going forward, though it’s still possible to claim the free Xbox One games on the console.
