Deal: Valve’s Steam Deck is 10% Off for its First Anniversary

Valve is discounting its Steam Deck for the first time to celebrate its first anniversary. The handheld gaming PC will be 10% until March 23, and the base model with just 64GB of eMMC storage now starts at $359.10.

It’s quite recommended to pick up one of the models with faster SSD storage. The mid-range option with 256GB of storage is currently priced at $476.10, while the high-end model with a 512GB NVMe SSD plus premium anti-glare etched glass is priced at $584.10. The latter also comes with an exclusive carrying case.

The 10% discount is available in all markets where the Steam Deck is already shipping. The Steam Deck is a nice option for casual gamers looking for a gaming handheld that’s more versatile than the Nintendo Switch, and it’s also a nice device for PC gamers who already have a large collection of games on Steam. Just like the Nintendo Switch, you can connect the Steam Deck to a TV and monitor using Valve’s official dock (or any other USB-C dock). Moreover, you can also install Windows on it to turn the handheld into a more capable PC. Xbox Cloud Gaming is also available on the Deck via Microsoft Edge.
