Microsoft Launches Starfield Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller and Headset

Microsoft held its much-anticipated Xbox Games Showcase today, which was followed by the Starfield Direct livestream that offered a deep dive into the upcoming sci-fi game. To celebrate the upcoming launch of Starfield on September 6, Microsoft is launching today the Starfield Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller and Headset
The Starfield Limited Edition Xbox controller is priced at $79.99 and features transparent triggers, full side and back grips, and a metallic hybrid D-pad. The $124.99 headset comes with a red-and-white headband, a transparent mic boom revealing an internal bronze speaker piece, and other details matching the design of the controller.

“The crisp, clean designs are inspired by real world spacecraft, and are custom built to transport you right into the cockpit of a true space explorer,” the Xbox team said today. Both items are available for purchase today on the Microsoft Store while supplies last.
Starfield will launch on day one on Game Pass for Console and PC on September 6, but the game is also available for pre-order today. The standard edition is priced at $69.99, and there’s also a $99.99 Premium Edition that includes up to 5 days of early access, various in-game bonuses, as well as access to the upcoming Shattered Space story expansion.
In case you missed it, Microsoft also announced a new Xbox Series S Carbon Black with 1TB of storage today. The $349 console is available for pre-order today and will start shipping on September 1.
