Nvidia GeForce Now Adds Battle.net Integration

Nvidia GeForce Now

Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud gaming service is adding today a new integration with Blizzard’s Battle.net platform. The digital storefront, which is now the property of Microsoft, will let GeForce Now users stream select Activision Blizzard games they own including Diablo IV, Overwatch 2, Call of Duty HQ, and Hearthstone.

Battle.net is joining Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, Ubisoft Connect, and GOG.com in the list of digital storefronts that integrate with GeForce Now. Even though Nvidia still needs to obtain licenses to stream games available on these platforms, GeForce Now’s ability to bring games you own across various stores in a single place is really compelling. GeForce Now also integrates with Microsoft’s PC Game Pass subscription service, though again, not all games in the library can be streamed on GeForce Now.

Overall, 30 new games will be coming to GeForce Now in March, including the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, Outcast – A New Beginning, and Alone in the Dark. Several high-profile games were also recently added to the service including Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, and Halo Infinite.

GeForce Now has a free tier you can use to stream the supported games you already own, though gaming sessions are limited to just one hour on a basic gaming rig. Starting this week, Nvidia is now showing pre-roll ads to free users while they’re waiting for their gaming session to start.

If you want to experience the best GeForce Now has to offer, the new Day Passes that Nvidia announced last month at CES are now available. The Ultimate Day Pass providing access to GeForce RTX 4080-powered servers is priced at $7.99, and the Priority Day Pass is priced at $3.99.
