As 2024 is coming to a close, Xbox is joining Spotify, Apple Music, and other services offering yearly recaps of what their users have been doing. This year, the Xbox Year in Review makes it easy to see the total played across console, PC, mobile, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, and there are also detailed stats on total achievements, top genres played, top gameplay month, and more.
The web-based app also lets Xbox gamers see the friends they played with most in multiplayer games, and there’s also a section dedicated to Game Pass activity. It shows interesting data such as the #1 top-played Game Pass game, as well as the total number of games played and the total minutes played in 2024 and since the beginning of the subscription.

I was personally surprised to see that I played games on Xbox Cloud Gaming for 60 hours this year. I’m lucky to have a solid Internet connection at home, and I like the ability to play cloud-enabled games that support mouse and keyboard input right from my work machine. That includes recent games like Age of Mythology: Retold and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which work surprisingly well on Xbox Cloud Gaming (if you don’t mind the video quality).
You can check out your Xbox Year in Review on this page. The Xbox team said it’s available in select markets until January 31, 2025.
