Microsoft released the June Xbox update yesterday, which brings a new startup animation featuring the translucent green Xbox logo that signals the “return to Xbox.” The update also introduces new Gamerscore milestone badges, sharper images across the Xbox OS, and other features that have been in testing with Xbox Insiders.
Regarding the new Gamerscore badges, they will appear on player profiles with at least 1,000 Gamerscore, and there are different levels ranging from 1,000 to 10,000,000 Gamerscore. On Xbox Series X consoles set to 4K, gamerpics will now be displayed in a sharper resolution. The update also improves the visual quality of Xbox 360 gamerpics, certain achievement art, and game box art.
(We've been working to improve the quality and comprehensiveness of what's included in these release notes. Hopefully they are noticeable!)

The June Xbox update also introduces a new Game access filter in the Game library to make installed games that may not be playable easier to identify. That can happen when a game subscription expires, or when someone else stops sharing games with you using the home Xbox feature. The filter will also hide Kinect games that are only playable on Xbox One consoles (Xbox Series X|S consoles dropped support for the accessory).
Lastly, Microsoft is testing a new way to access the Xbox Rewards dashboard right from the Home dashboard. The update also fixes an issue causing some game updates to fail, leading consoles to become unresponsive.
