Xbox Design Lab Adds More Xbox Elite Series 2 Customization Choices

After adding the Xbox Elite Series 2 to its Xbox Design Lab last October, Microsoft today announced that is adding even more customization choices.

“We’re thrilled to announce that a new range of colors are now available, giving you even more ways to make Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers your own,” Microsoft’s Mekias Bekalu writes. “You will now have the choice of 16 main colors for your top and back case, 12 colors for the ABXY buttons, 17 different accent colors for the paddles and D-pad, and 25 accent colors for the rest of the controller. There are literally billions of possibilities for personalizing our most advanced controller.”

For those unfamiliar, Xbox Design Lab lets you create custom versions of the Xbox Wireless Controller ($69.99 and up) or Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 ($149 and up), or custom components and accessories for the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 ($26.99 to $69.99): those include the Thumbsticks + D-pad Pack (interchangeable thumbsticks with unique designs and an additional cross shape or faceted D-pad), the Paddles Pack (a set of four paddles), the Carrying Case + Charging Pack (with carrying case, charging dock, and USB-C cable), and the Everything Pack, which combines all the components into one.

Support for the Elite Series 2 controller originally arrived last October with customization options that are unique to that controller.
