Google Introduces Improved Search for Movies

Google is rolling out a new update to search results for movies on mobile devices. The company is updating its search feature for movies to help users easily plan a movie night without needing to leave Google.

The company is overhauling its search results for movies to give users more insights into movies and their showtimes. Users can easily compare reviews of movies from critics, as well as user reviews when searching for showtimes. They can even compare showtimes in different theaters, and Google is offering a lot of new filtering options with the updated search system. You can now filter showtimes by things like the screen type, film ratings, or even the location of theaters.

As usual, you will be able to book shows by going to third-party sites like Fandango from Google Search. The new movie search is rolling out right now to users on Google Search mobile web, as well as the Google app for Android in the United States and India. The feature will be coming to Google’s iOS app in the near future.
