Google to Reveal Games, Pricing Details for Its Stadia Streaming Service Soon

In March at GDC, Google launched its game-streaming service: Stadia. The company made a huge splash with the announcement of Stadia, promising a ton to customers. It didn’t, however, talk about some of the important things: games and pricing.

Stadia’s entire announcement was focused on the specs of the platform. Google made a huge deal about the hardware behind the service, like GPUs with 10.7 teraflops of power. It also promised 4K streaming @ 60 FPS with HDR and surround sound.

It didn’t talk much about games, though. And on the same day Microsoft announced details on its game-streaming service Project xCloud, Google teased its fans with a…tweet.

Google tweeted that the company plans to release details on pricing and launch info for Stadia this summer. But more importantly, Google will also have some game announcements for the platform. And considering Google isn’t really popular with the game industry, it will be very interesting to see what kind of games the company will have up its sleeves.

I'm not sure I would call it a launch at GDC. More like an announcement. The launch would be when it is available to use.

Even money that they started working on it maybe 36 hours before the announcement ?
