Buy Google Hardware, Get Google One Perks

Google customers who purchase any “made by Google” product, including the Pixel 4, will get some free perks from Google One, the search giant’s online storage service.

“We just announced a few new things Made By Google, including the Pixel 4 and the Google Nest Mini,” Google’s Larissa Fontaine explains. “New Google One benefits help you get more from your Made By Google devices with Google Store member rewards, a free trial with Pixel 4, and Pro Sessions.”

Here are the offers.

Google Store rewards. Existing Google One subscribers “on select plans” who buy any Google device or accessory from the Google Store can earn up to 10 percent back in Google Store credit, Fontaine says. Just be sure to sign-in to your Google account before making the purchase; the credit will be issued 30 days after your purchase ships.

Google One trial and Pro Sessions for Pixel 4 buyers. Customers who purchase a Pixel 4 or Pixel 4 XL smartphone directly from Google (everywhere except in Italy) will get three free months of the Google One 100 GB tier. Additionally, Pixel 4/4 XL buyers can get free expert help from Google’s Pro Sessions in Google Hangouts.

More benefits for Google One subscribers. Existing Google One subscribers now get additional perks that vary by storage tier. If you pay for the 100 GB plan, you get free Pixel 4 Pro Sessions. If you pay for the 200 GB tier, you get 3 percent back on all Pixel 4 purchases from the Google online store. And if you pay for 2 TB of storage, you get 10 percent back on all Pixel 4 purchases from the Google online store.

Google notes that Pro Sessions are currently offered in English and available in the United States and Canada, and Google Store rewards are available in the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, and Germany. I’ve also seen the 100 GB Google One trial made available to recent (non-Google) Chromebook buyers too, so if you do buy a Chromebook, be sure to see which free perks are available. There’s always something.

2TB plan just gives a 10% credit for a future purchase. Can't use towards the purchase of the Pixel 4. Sad

Does the vase announce when your flowers need watering?

Maybe they will call it Google InVase (or possibly InVasive if you are fed too much information on how your flowers are doing through the day like if they would like some shade)
