Google will be joining Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft this fall and hold its own hardware event on October 4. The company has started sending email invites for the event today, which will take place at 10 AM ET in New York City.
The company is expected to officially unveil the Pixel 8 lineup, and we’ll likely see other products as well. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro have actually already leaked.

A picture of what could be the Pixel 8 Pro and a new Pixel Watch 2 recently appeared on the Google Store website, though it appears Google has already removed it. Anyway, it’s probably good for Google to start the Pixel 8 conversation a Apple is preparing to reveal its iPhone 15 lineup on September 12.
Here's a look at the Google Pixel 8 Pro in Porcelain.

Google seems to be getting more serious about its Pixel hardware these days. There was quite a lot to like in the Pixel Tablet and the Pixel Watch, even though the latter has lackluster battery life. Anyway, competition is good and Google is also doing a lot of work on the software side as well.
Since this is a “Made by Google” event, we may also see updates for other products such as Pixel Buds, the Chromecast for Google TV, or Google’s various smart home devices.
