Fitbit’s Personal Health Coach is Expanding to More Markets Including the UK and Canada

Fitbit’s new Gemini-powered health coach, which launched in public preview in the US in October is expanding to more markets, and it’s also coming to iOS. The Fitbit team announced yesterday that the public preview is now rolling out to Fitbit Premium users in the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.

The new Personal health coach in Fitbit launched alongside a new version of the Fitbit app, and it works with the latest Fitbit trackers, smartwatches, and Pixel Watches. It currently offers personalized fitness coaching with custom plans and routines, detailed sleep analysis, and health and wellness advice.

Because it’s still in preview, the team is asking testers to share their feedback on the dedicated Fitbit Community board and in the app. “This is a brand new experience, so initially, there will be some gaps, but you’ll see regular improvements and communication from us when we add, change or improve features and capabilities,” the team said back in October.

To join the public preview, you’ll need an active paid or trial Fitbit Premium subscription, update your Fitbit app to the latest version, and use English for both the Fitbit app and your phone. The sign-in screen should appear on the Today screen or Account Settings within the Fitbit app for iOS.
