MWC 2025 is underway this week in Barcelona, and Lenovo is on hand with new AI laptops across its major business and consumer brands. There are also some interesting concept PCs and cool NPU add-ons that point to an even more interesting future.

For businesses, Lenovo is offering new ThinkPad and ThinkBook models, plus three concept laptops: A ThinkBook “Flip” concept laptop with an outwardly folding 18.1-inch OLED display, a ThinkBook 16p Gen 6 with modular bays that allow you to add 8-to-13-inch secondary screens to other side, and a ThinkBook 3D laptop concept with a Directional Backlight 3D 3.2K display.

On the external NPU front, Lenovo has two proofs of concept.

The Lenovo AI Display comes with an internal discrete NPU so non-AI PCs can use local AI models. It also adapts to the user’s movements by automatically rotating, elevating, and tilting to optimize viewing angles.

And the Lenovo AI Stick allows users with a non-NPU-equipped PC to access local AI with a 32 TOPS NPU, USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, and dedicated power.
