Caballero describes himself as “passionate and thorough, with experience in R&D, prototyping, designing, integrating, testing, and shipping millions of world-class consumer electronics products and technologies.”  He is a “proven innovator for new consumer experiences creating new technology areas and breakthrough designs.”

A 14-year Apple veteran, Caballero was a founding member of the original iPhone team at Apple and founded and led the Wireless Design & Technology group at Apple. He is apparently working for Microsoft in Silicon Valley, not Washington State.

<p>This is quite good news; events such as the current pandemic continue to demonstrate the necessity of ever-increasing virtualization of experiences, both business and personal. Microsoft's portfolio is pretty remarkable in this arena. This fellow could be the person to pull the pieces together.</p><p><br></p><p>Kind of like watching "Chopped."</p>
