Microsoft’s September Event Isn’t Just About Surface

While many of us had speculated that next month’s Microsoft special event was mostly about new Surface PCs, that’s not the case. Instead, this event covers a much broader agenda.

“Please join us in New York City on Thursday, September 21, for a Microsoft event where we’ll share the latest AI innovations across the company,” the latest invite reads. ” You’ll hear from Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO, and other Microsoft executives from product groups like Microsoft 365, Surface, Windows, Bing, and more.  Throughout the day, you can also participate in hands-on demos and curated sessions.”

Unfortunately, the event will not be live-streamed. But there will be news delivered live at the event, and I assume Microsoft will replay it after the fact. Either way, I’m going. It’s been too long since I’ve been to an in-person Microsoft event (November 2019, Microsoft Ignite).
