HQ, one of the big new apps that came out in the last year, has launched a new game. The app is known for its Trivia game, where players get to compete against users from all over the world in real-time and answer trivia questions to win prizes.
The game was incredibly popular when it first launched around the beginning of 2018, though it has arguably fallen down ever since the hype has faded away. To make up for that and get some new hype going, HQ toady launched HQ Words. The announcement comes after the company’s co-founder and CEO passed away last Sunday due to drug overdose.
The company has a new CEO, and the new Words game hopes to get the company’s traction back. Words is available from the same app as Trivia. Every day, there will be an HQ Words show at a certain time of the day where you will be able to participate against players from all around the world in a Wheel of Fortune-style game. You will essentially have to guess letters to form a word or phrase within 25 seconds. The quickest and most accurate players will take the prize home. It’s a pretty simple idea, but the real-time style of HQ makes things a lot more entertaining and fun.
