Final Cut Pro is a well-known professional video editing app on macOS, and it’s often cited as one of the reasons Macs are so popular among creative workers. The iPad version will require an iPad Pro or an iPad Air with an M1 chip or newer, and it will be priced at $4.99/month or $49/year.

On the latest iPad Pro models with M2 chips, Final Cut Pro supports Live Drawing with the Apple Pencil, and it also supports Pro Camera Mode, multicam video editing, and machine learning-powered features such as Auto Crop and Voice isolation. The app can also import projects from iMovie for iPadOS, and export all projects to Final Cut Pro on macOS.

With Logic Pro for iPad, Apple has also optimized its professional music creation for touch input, but the app also supports the Apple Pencil and keyboard input. There’s a brand new sound browser to help creators find inspiration, and all features power users need in a mobile studio. The app can also import projects from GarageBand on iPad and expert any project to Logic Pro for Mac.

Logic Pro for iPad will require an iPad with an A12 Bionic chip or newer, and it will also be priced at $4.99/month or $49/year. However, both Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro for iPad offer a one-month free trial.
