Microsoft has enabled LinkedIn integration with Bixby, Samsung’s digital personal assistant.
“You now have access to LinkedIn’s content and calendar experience On the new Galaxy S8 and S8+ in newly announced Bixby,” Microsoft’s Sofia Andrianakou writes in a new post to the LinkedIn Official Blog. “With just a swipe to the right, on Bixby home, you can prep for upcoming meetings and tackle the day ahead, with details such as who you’re meeting with and top news of the day.”

Bixby works a lot like other digital personal assistants. And like the Google Assistant experience on stock Android, you can access a full-screen experience with content cards via a swipe to the right from the home screen.
Based on Microsoft’s description, it appears that LinkedIn information can be accessed via a dedicated card in the Bixby Home experience. This can include information about the people you’re meeting with ahead of that meeting, plus a “people you met” link that can help you follow up on previous meetings. The LinkedIn card in Bixby Home will also provide access to your LinkedIn feed.
Finally, it appears that setup is automatic: Just install the LinkedIn app on your Galaxy S8 or S8+ and sign-in: Bixby Home will prompt you with LinkedIn cards when appropriate.
