A coming update to the OnePlus 6 is aimed at improving various the device’s camera experience. This is particularly interesting to me as I just reviewed the OnePlus 6, and if I could improve one thing, it’d be the camera.
I’m getting an error when I try to view the OnePlus forum post that describes this update. But many have already reported on it, and it looks like OxygenOS 5.1.9 will include the following improvement to OnePlus’ camera app:

In my review of the OnePlus 6, I noted that the camera quality was “very good,” but not excellent, and not up to the quality we see in the Google Pixel 2 XL.
OxygenOS 5.1.9 will apparently rollout later today. I’m looking forward to this one.
