Opera for Android Gets a Reasoning AI Update

Opera announced today that its mobile web browser on Android now supports Think Deeper in Opera AI, an AI-based reasoning capability.

“Opera for Android has a new feature that expands the capabilities of Opera browser AI: Think Deeper,” Opera’s Santiago Benavides García writes in the announcement post. “What does that mean? Well, it makes the Opera AI take a little longer to think your question through, find up-to-date sources and give you a better and more comprehensive answer. This is particularly useful when you’re trying to do research or just want to find information beyond a simple search.”

Opera for Android already supports an Ask AI feature that lets you chat with AI, generate ideas, and upload files. With this change, it also supports a Think Deeper feature that prioritizes precision over speed. AI will reason through the answer to your questions while displaying text that explains its chain of thought as it does so. It also searches the web for relevant sources and context.

To use Think Deeper in Opera for Android, just tap the Ask AI button and then tap the Think Deeper button in the bottom of the text input box. You can download Opera for Android from the Google Play Store if you want to check it out.
