Apple Announces Its iPhone Event

Apple has just sent out invites for its September event where the company is expected to introduce new hardware. The hardware giant will be holding the event at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino.

The invitation is titled “Gather round.” which doesn’t really give out much but the circle could possibly be a hinting at a round Apple Watch Series 4. Along with a new Apple Watch, the company is expected to introduce three new iPhones at the event. There’s a 5.8-inch OLED version priced around $899, a 6.1-inch LCD version, and a 6.5-inch OLED iPhone is expected to be announced at the event.

Apple is also going to announce a new MacBook Air and Mac Mini at the event. The firm could possibly even launch new AirPods at the event, along with the much-awaited (and delayed) AirPower wireless charger. There’s going to be a ton of new announcements, so your wallet is definitely going to hurt if you are an Apple fan.

Blockbuster of an event that will make every tech blogger, all of them already Apple bloggers, forget everything about Apple's mishaps.

Obviously, the logo means that the new iPhones are all going to be ditching iOS in favor of last year's version of Android.

For some reason, which I cannot quite place my finger on, upon reading the headline of this article, the song by the Pointer Sisters, "I'm so excited, I just can't hide it…" came thundering in my mind.

I wonder why, hmm ?

youtube.com/watch?v=YwKRM_835uk

In reply to locust infested orchard inc:

Apple actually had the Pointer Sisters record a version of "I'm so excited" with Apple specific lyrics as the background music of their 1985 Apple Year in Review video that they sent out to all their Macintosh dealers.

Wow. So they're using the Cortana ring as their launch logo.

If I were Siri I'd be a bit peeved.

Is there anything that isn't already known? I do miss the unknown of many years back, but alas, we're in the known future. The one that gets you ready to buy as soon as it's announced, no reason to stop and take a look, you've already decided.
