Google is offering YouTube TV subscribers a $20 credit to compensate for the recent removal of Disney-owned content on the platform. Google’s contract with Disney expired on October 30, 2025, and the two companies have yet to reach a new agreement to restore channels such as ABC, ESPN, National Geographic, and more on YouTube TV.
“Each time we renew our contracts with network partners, we advocate for fair pricing and greater flexibility to offer our subscribers the best possible live TV experience,” the company said on a support page. “It’s our goal to restore Disney content to YouTube TV, but if we can’t reach an agreement and their content is unavailable for an extended period of time, we’ll offer our subscribers a $20 credit.”
Over the next few days, family managers will receive an email with instructions on how to redeem their $20 YouTube TV credit. We remain committed to working with Disney to bring their content back, and we appreciate your patience while we work toward a resolution.…

I previously reported last week that some YouTube TV subscribers were offered a $10 credit as negotiations with Disney were still ongoing, but there was no official communication about it. Anyway, YouTube TV is now offering a $20 credit, and YouTube TV subscribers who are billed through Google Play or another provider will see it automatically applied to their next bill. For other subscribers paying for YouTube TV directly, redeeming the credit can only be done on the web.
More than 20 Disney-owned channels are currently missing from YouTube TV due to the two companies failing to agree on new contractual terms. The expiration of Google’s agreement with Disney has also led to the removal of the company’s content from the Google Play Store and YouTube. Google Play and YouTube purchases also no longer sync to Movies Anywhere libraries.
