Disney+ and Hulu Plans Get Another Price Increase

Disney has raised the price of Disney+ and Hulu subscriptions in the US, with ad-free Premium plans being the most impacted (via 9to5Mac). Disney+ Premium and Hulu+ Premium with no ads are now priced at $21.49/month, while the ad-supported plans now cost $12.49/month.

The last price increase occurred in October 2025, and it looks like Disney is incentivizing consumers to subscribe to its bundle plans. The price for the Disney+ and Hulu (with ads) bundle remains unchanged at $12.99/month.

Here’s the new pricing structure for Disney’s streaming plans:

• Disney+ (with ads): $12.49/month (previously $11.99)
• Hulu (with ads): $12.49/month (previously $11.99)
• Disney+ Premium (no ads): $21.49/month (previously $18.99)
• Hulu+ Premium (no ads): $21.49/month (previously $18.99)
• Disney+/Hulu Premium Bundle: $21.99/month (previously $19.99)

Overall, Disney+ and Hulu are both substantially more expensive than Netflix, which starts at $9/month for its ad-supported plan. Even Netflix’s ad-free plan is cheaper at $20/month, though the platform charges $27/month for 4K quality, HDR, and spatial audio.

Disney isn’t alone in raising prices for its streaming services in the US, however. Last month, Apple also bumped the price of its Apple TV subscription from $12.99 to $14.99/month in the country. The service originally launched at $4.99/month back in 2019.
