Sonos Makes a Few More App Updates

Sonos app on iOS 18

Sonos this weekend highlighted several more updates it’s made to its much-maligned mobile app over the past few weeks. This follows a similar update from mid-September.

“We’re continuing to make progress on the Sonos app and recently rolled out more features and fixes with updates for iOS and Android,” an email to customers explains.

Recent updates on both platforms include full support for light and dark modes, a more reliable setup experience, and accessibility improvements in app settings, plus various bug fixes. Users on iPhone and iPad also got TruePlay tuning that’s compatible for iOS 18., easier queue management with the ability to delete, reorder, and scroll, and more UI improvements. And Android users can now clear the queue and change the Alexa wake word language in settings.

You can learn more about these and previous Sonos app updates on the Sonos Support website.
