    <p>PWAs are the future… they're not there yet though. </p><p>While functionally they may be close to the same, there's a performance hit compared to native apps currently and a lot of consumers and business owners would rather use an app than a website. Until you can search for a PWA in the store, this is a major issue. In 3-5 years? Maybe not. </p><p>There are still things you can't do completely in a browser (peripherals) and it may take until the WebAssembly spec is finalized til those get sorted out.</p>

    <p>Edge should have an option where you can create an app from a website/webpage.</p>
