Very odd that Microsoft bothered to announce and demo Windows on ARM so long ago if they had no actual plans to bring anything to the market this year. Kind of makes me wonder what exactly went wrong -- specifically, I wonder if the performance hit from emulation makes Windows on ARM pointless when Apollo Lake exists, and likely outperforms the Snapdragon 835 when emulating x86, while also costing less significantly less. I mean, Apollo Lake laptops start at $200, and Snapdragon 835 phones start at $600. The difference in heat and power draw isn't that big a deal in a laptop form factor where the screen accounts for a far greater percentage of the total power as compared to a 6" phone. Would anyone really pay 3x for a laptop that performs similarly but manages 12 hours instead of 10 hours of battery life? I doubt it. I don't know if this is the cause for the delay, but clearly something is keeping OEMs from leaping at WoA.

BlackBerry smartphones running BlackBerry 10 operating system let you load Android apps on the phone through the Amazon app store. Or just load Android APK'S to your BlackBerry 10 devices. They run very well on BlackBerry.
