Well, the Kinect was a primary reason we broke down and bought the original Xbox One. We recently updated our Dish Network receiver (the old box died) and it supports 4K, and we replaced our HD TV with a 4K TV (thanks, insane Black Friday deals). Since the Xbox devices don't support 4K pass-through and most of the apps we actually use on Xbox are also available on the Dish receiver and the TV, there really is no reason for us to hold onto the Xbox. Microsoft has pretty much killed any useful voice interaction with it and with no native support for Kinect in newer boxes, it looks like ditching the console altogether makes the most sense.
