The Sams Report is a weekly podcast that dives deep into the world of Microsoft. With the company transforming the way it operates and Nadella putting his own touch on all aspects of the organization, the Sams Report breaks down the news and offers insight from insider sources.

They'll stop chipping away at Pro once Pro has become Home and Home has become a distant memory.

My Samsung Galaxy 8+ has no problems viewing in direct sunlight. This is got to be the best screen of any smart phone out there.

On the black Surface Book... do you guys realize that the imagery in the Intel video is 100% CGI? They don't photograph that stuff. It would be far more costly to set up those camera/product moves in a motion control rig than to just animate and render it in 3D. They probably just bought the $69 SurfaceBook model off Turbosquid and changed it to black because it looked better in the context of their video.

It's not a lighting issue, it's not necessarily, or even likely, Microsoft assets. It's run of the mill CGI that any competent 3D artist could make in a weekend.
