Cocktail pick of the week: The Agua Fresca

This drink is inspired by the refreshing agua fresca drinks you can find at roadside stands and in markets all over Mexico City.

• About 1/2 cantaloupe cut into 1-inch chunks. The riper the better.
• 4 shots coconut rum such as Malibu
• 1 shot dark rum such as Bacardi dark
• 4-5 ice cubes

Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth and frothy.

Watermelon is a good substitute for cantaloupe. I haven’t tried other fruits but I’m sure a lot would work well.
