Microsoft is once again releasing new Windows 11 Insider builds on a Friday. The Windows 11 build 25936 is now available for Insiders on the Canary Channel, while Dev Channel testers can download the build 23531.

There are not a lot of changes in these two new builds, but let’s start with what’s new for the Canary Channel:

Post-OOBE experiences: A small subset of Insiders will see three new options after completing the out of box experience: one of them will automatically install the Dev Home app if you choose ‘Development Intent’ within the ‘Let’s Customize Your Experience’ page during OOBE.

Dynamic lighting: If you have devices with RGB lights, you can now choose a custom color to light up your devices with.

Task Manager: The app’s settings page has been refreshed to match the design language of Windows 11.

That’s it for the main changes in the Canary Channel. On the Dev Channel, the build 23531 only includes two changes. First of all, a search flyout will now appear when you hover your mouse over the search box in the taskbar, and that can be disabled in taskbar settings.

Additionally, the Windows Insider team said that “Windows system components” will now use the default browser to open links for Insiders in the EU. I assume the team is referring to things like the Widgets board and Windows search, which redirect users to Microsoft Edge by default. If so, that’s a very welcome change, even though that will be restricted to the EU.

Earlier this week, Microsoft also released two new builds for Beta Channel testers. The build 22631.2262 brings the new Settings homepage and the Windows Backup app to Beta Channel testers.
