Microsoft has just released the Windows 11 Insider build 27723 on the Canary Channel. The new bits bring minor changes to the taskbar and the Voice Access accessibility feature, and there’s still no news about when the redesigned version of the AI-powered Recall feature will be available in preview on Copilot+ PCs.
The biggest new feature in this build is the ability to share local directly from the search results that appear in the Search box on the taskbar. This is feature has also start rolling out to non Insiders with the October 2024 Patch Tuesday updates for Windows 11 that Microsoft released yesterday.
For users relying on Voice Access, this build improves the spelling experience by allowing the dictation of characters at a faster speed. The corrections experience is also improved with more editing flexibility when using selection, deletion, and text navigation commands.
That’s pretty much all there is to report about today’s Canary build 27723. The Windows Insider team also said that it’s investigating reports from some Insiders who are still experiencing rollbacks with error code “0xc190010” when attempting to install the latest Canary builds.
