Microsoft Releases Windows 11 Canary Build 27891

Microsoft has just released the Windows 11 preview build 27891 for Insiders on the Canary Channel. There are no new features this time, only minor changes and bug fixes for the operating system. This build removes Windows Powershell 2.0 as it’s being deprecated.

Microsoft fixed the following bugs in this build:

• The “Reset this PC” option under Settings > System > Recovery should now work as expected.
• A Bluetooth bug which could cause Settings or Quick Settings to crash on launch for some people has been fixed.
• An issue causing all system sounds to stop working has been addressed.
• This build also fixes an issue that was causing some Insiders to see Windows update downloads to get stuck at 2%.

Lastly, a new Microsoft Store Update is also rolling out to Insiders on the Canary and Dev Channels today. It brings the ability to install apps directly from the top featured sections of the store’s homepage.
