Windows Insider Feedback Hub Gets a New Design and Simpler Submission Flow

Windows Insider Feedback Hub

Microsoft is starting to roll out a redesigned Feedback Hub app to Windows Insiders on the Canary and Dev Channels today. The new Hub introduces a redesigned Home page with the addition of a “give a compliment” feedback type, and the feedback submission flow has also been simplified in various ways.

“Feedback is now submitted using a single unified template, with the added ability to search categories. The feedback form itself has been modernized enabling for faster iteration and future improvements,” the Windows Insider team explained today.

The new Feedback Hub will make it easy for Insiders to edit their screenshots with new highlight, hide, and crop tools, and they can also choose to make their feedback private or public. There’s also a new focused feedback experience that only focuses on filing suggestions, problems or compliments.

This redesigned Feedback Hub will roll out to Canary Insiders who will install the just-released build 28020.1743, which also includes the Shared audio improvements that Microsoft previously introduced on the Dev and Beta Channels in February. It’s also available in the Canary build 29553.1000, which is an optional update for Canary testers interested in previewing the latest platform changes.

For Dev Channel testers, the build 26300.8085 will also provide access to the new Feedback Hub to Insiders who toggled the option to get the latest updates as soon as they’re available in Windows Update. However, today’s Beta Channel build 26220.8079 doesn’t include the new Feedback Hub, just minor bug fixes.
