Microsoft Appears to be Adding a Wish List to its Online Store

It doesn’t do anything yet, but the Microsoft Store in Windows 10 and on the web have picked up a new Wish List link.

As was first reported by OnMSFT, the new link appears on digital apps and games. But in looking around the store, I see it on PCs and other hardware, too.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

It doesn’t appear for movies, TV shows, or e-books, at least not yet.

It also doesn’t do anything: If you select the link, it highlights for a moment, but then just reverts to normal. I assume that when this feature is fully implemented, we’ll see a way to manage our wish lists under our Microsoft profiles online.

Ahhh. There's a lot you could wish for in the MS app store – for it to go away would be one of them. Seriously, I'm sure this will cue up a lot of similar comments.

The MS app store is just turning into a shop from for MS hardware and services anyway. So few independent apps actually get submitted now, and many of the big ones are closing down or certainly aren't being updated.

In reply to ghostrider:

I had the same thought as you. Why does MS needs to include the Store into Windows? Now that they dont have a mobile plattform? But removing the Store is like they have to admit that it was a failure.

Can you also wish for the Store to disappear?

Is the Store becoming an E Commerce platform or what?
