Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17763 Could Be It

Microsoft has issued yet another Windows 10 Insider Preview build with no new features. But this one could actually be the final build for Redstone 5.

My evidence?

“The build watermark at the lower right-hand corner of the desktop is no longer present in this build,” Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar writes in the build announcement. “This doesn’t mean we’re done.”

This is subtly different language from the past several builds, which instead said “we are not done yet.”

In other words, Microsoft intends that Windows 10 build 17763 be the final build of Windows 10 version 1809 (previously Redstone 5), or what we used to call the RTM (release to manufacturing) release. And barring any unexpected problems, it will be the final build.

So we’ll see what happens.

They might well fix that in the first cumulative update that will be available as soon as it ships (indeed before).

Totally a missed opportunity if they don't make 17767.4 the RTM build (as in July 4, 1776)

How else can you interpret plain English, “This doesn’t mean we’re done”, it literally said they are not done.
