Microsoft Finally Releases a Windows 10 19H1 Build to the Slow Ring

Microsoft is finally releasing a new build of Windows 10 19H1 to Insiders in the Slow Ring. The company has released a number of new builds to Insiders in the Fast Ring recently, though the ones in the Slow Ring didn’t receive any new builds lately.

The reason behind the lack of new builds in the Slow Ring was due to an issue with the gaming anti-cheat system on Windows 10 causing a GSOD/BSOD. Microsoft had previously said that a majority of users in the Slow Ring were playing games affected by the issue, and so the company decided not to release any new builds to the Slow Ring till the issue was resolved.

And even though the issue has not been resolved yet, Microsoft is releasing build 18342.8 to Insiders in the Slow Ring. There is a catch, however: if you play any of these games impacted by the bug, you won’t receive the new build — and Microsoft isn’t saying exactly which games are impacted. And if your PC uses the ZH-CN language, you also won’t be receiving the new build as its apparently causing “many common” Chinese games to crash.

You can find the full changelog for build 18342.8 on here.

Got it on my Surface 3. I like the look of the Light theme. Haven't had much time on it to comment on much more. Update was as seamless as it gets on a Surface 3.
