Microsoft is rolling out a new build of Windows 10 to Insiders in the Fast Ring today. The company is rolling out a new build of Windows 10 20H1 to Insiders in the Fast ring, but it’s more of a minor update.
The main new feature in the update is Windows Hello’s support in Safe Mode. You can now access Windows Hello features within Safe Mode, so you will be able to unlock your device using your face, fingerprint, etc. The new update is part of Microsoft’s effort to introduce a Passwordless experience in Windows 10, and adding Windows Hello to the Safe Mode will make sure you can use the seamless logging-in experience that’s provided by Windows Hello even when you are in Safe Mode.
Apart from that, there aren’t a lot of other new features in the new update. There are a couple of fixes for Windows Subsystem for Linux included in the build, as well as a number of other general improvements and bug fixes. Apart from that, that’s basically it.
You can get build 18995 from Windows Update right away.
