Microsoft Issues New Windows 10 Version 20H1 Build

Posted on October 23, 2019 by Paul Thurrott in Windows 10 with 1 Comment

Microsoft has issued a new build of Windows 10 version 20H1 to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring, but with no new features.

The big issue this time around seems to be solving a major issue with previous builds, where Insiders were stuck on restart or shutdown and couldn’t upgrade. Microsoft has finally issued a workaround for that problem, which you can find here.

Beyond that, Windows 10 Insider Preview build 19008 doesn’t offer anything particularly interesting, beyond a few minor fixes.
