Windows 10 Build 14390 Now Available To Insiders

14390 hero

Seeing as we are in the last minutes before Windows 10 Anniversary update is signed off, it should come as a little surprise that there is a new build out for Insiders; this time around it is build 14390. Of course, the question is if this is the actual release build for August 2nd but we may not know that for a few more days.

According to a source inside the company, the employee ring is is also on 14390 which means the company is giving this build to the widest ring of available testing which is a good sign that we are extremely close to signoff, if this build is not the actual release.

In addition, if you look at the known issues for this release, there is only one (for desktop users). In this release, Windows Server 2016 TP5 will not boot a VM with secure boot enabled; there are no other known issues.

To littler surprise, there are not any new features in this build but there is a new Edge extension, Amazon Assistant.

You can download this build now for both PC and Desktop and I don’t expect there to be any major hiccups with this release considering how close we are to signoff. With that being said, make sure to let us know if you encounter any problems.
