Microsoft issued identical pre-release builds of Windows 11 version 25H2 to the Dev and Beta channels in the Windows Insider Program today. There are just a handful of new features, each minor.
Those with a PC enrolled in the Dev channel can install Preview Update KB5077202 to upgrade to Windows 11 version 25H2 build 26300.7760. Those in the Beta channel can install KB5077201 and upgrade to Windows 11 version 25H2 build 26220.7755.
Either way, you’re looking at the same minor new features:
Emoji 16.0. A “small but thoughtfully curated set of new emojis—one from each major category—designed to resonate across cultures and contexts” will appear in the Emoji panel.
Camera improvements. Microsoft is adding Pan and Tilt options for supported cameras in the Settings page for each camera you have, under the “Basic settings” section.
General improvements. These builds also improve the “visual experience and performance for several scenarios including at the bottom of the screen when the Taskbar is set to autohide, Desktop icons unexpected[ly] flashing (and decreased performance interacting with your PC), and Windows Security pop[ping] up for credentials.”
