Microsoft Issues a New Windows 11 Insider Experimental (26H1) Build

Following yesterday’s massive set of Insider builds, Microsoft has released another new build today, this time to the Experimental (26H1) channel.

“This update includes a small set of general improvements and fixes that improve the overall experience for Insiders running this build on their PCs,” Microsoft explains.

In other words, there are no major new features. Instead, Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 28120.2546 includes:

• A smart card removal policy for admins using Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 sessions that use Microsoft Entra ID (RDS AAD Auth) authentication.
• Minor Narrator improvements.
• Minor Voice access improvements.
• Minor Settings improvements.
• Minor Sounds improvements.

Nothing major.
